VISEO EXPERTISE
VISEO Asia is now a Customer Success Partner, and Certified Implementation Partner for SAP Concur
We sat down with Joshua Yeo, Managing Director, and SAP Practice Manager for VISEO Singapore to find out more about this new offer, the certifications obtained and what this means for VISEO.
We are adding SAP Concur as one of our offers in Asia. What are some of the key reasons?
Many companies are now moving towards digital transformation so the availability of a cloud solution like Concur makes a lot of sense. From the investment standpoint, this solution also provides a quick return of investment. It can help a lot of companies put in place better control over their travel and expense (T&E) processes.
Since Concur was acquired by SAP, this solution will provide a new option and a good fit to our existing customers who are using SAP. Also, since it is an SAP solution, we can say that it will be a seamless integration. Concur can also be integrated with Salesforce.com which may be interesting for our current customers who are using Salesforce as well.
Can you elaborate more about the partner certifications that we have obtained?
Our headquarters were certified in 2017 as Customer Success Partner (CSP) and Certified Implementation Partner (CIP) for SAP Concur. With this, they have successfully delivered numerous global implementations. This year, we have also followed suit to obtain the CSP and CIP certifications in Asia. Since then, we have already delivered a few projects.
I believe this puts us in a strategic position since there are only a handful of CIP partners in Asia. Currently, we are CIP certified in Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines and Indonesia. But we do have the global implementation experience to assist our clients in implementing the solution globally. Moving forward, we are also looking to be certified for Australia as well.
What is our vision with the addition of this solution?
We’ve worked with a lot of global customers, and we notice that many of them are still using manual processes that are overly time consuming when it comes to their expenses. For example, they are still using excel sheets and pasting receipts onto a piece of A4 paper for claim submissions.
There are also global companies whose processes are all over the place. They could be getting approval for a flight via their email, but whatever they submitted for approval online might be different. There is no traceability and continuity in such things.
With that said, we hope to work with our customers, and help them to establish and streamline their T&E processes, so as to improve their productivity and efficiency.
What are your plans regarding the future direction of the VISEO SAP Practice in Asia Pacific?
With the addition of Concur, going forward, we hope that we will continue to assist clients and provide them with seamless SAP integrated solutions.
We are also looking into Robotic Process Automation (RPA). From what I know, SAP just did an acquisition of an RPA solution. With the help of RPA, user interface interactions across SAP and non-SAP applications can be simplified, so we are looking forward to seeing how we can delve further into this and grow our SAP practice further.
